As the full moon rises above the dark outline of trees, a blood curdling howl can be heard from some distance. What was once a man, is now a beast. The madness within him is now apparent.  Lycanthus is the archtypical werewolf in all it's glory, half-man and half-beast, governed by animalistic passions and primal desires. Fearsome and ferocious, the wolf man has left behind all but his most basic human traits, and given himself over to the ecstasy of the hunt,  the rapture of the kill.  He cannot be tamed, and he cannot be captured. But the Werewolf is as much a victim as he is a predator, a slave to the torments of his wilder passions and transfigurations. Lycanthus gives the wearer a range of facial motion that is usually prohibited in other werewolf masks and appliances, allowing your own madness to come through the appliance.
