Wyzard is Headmaster of Hogblisters School of Perfunctory Invocation and Impractical Alchemy; an under-funded public school for wizards and witches who aren’t good enough to receive an owl inviting them to attend the much more prestigious “Other School” of witchcraft and wizardry. Nestled deep within the inner-city Ghetto of the Wanderers Immutable Twilight, (neighboring the Fiefdom of the Poison Buggerbear), Hogblisters continues to struggle with magical urban crime such as drive-by hexing, Illegal alchemy abuse, and underage wizards casting the Spiritual Maelstrom of Vaseline in public. With the Ministry cutting all funding for the dark arts, Hogblisters continues to score in the lowest percentile of all magical schools. Withered and old, wizened and powerful, Wyzard is the only one who can turn the tide for these young wayward inner-city witches and wizards. Basically he's like Morgan Freeman in "Lean on Me," but, you know, with a seven and three-quarter inch rune inscribed Hornbeam wand with a Griffin tail core. He is an old man, showing all the lines of time, but he is still the only one who can shine a light against the impenetrable darkness that is closing in. Unfortunately, his Patronus is a paramecium.
