For more than 30 years, The Scream Team has created professional foam latex prosthetic appliances for makeup artists, haunted attractions, filmmakers, performers, cosplayers and Halloween enthusiasts. Founded by makeup artist Scott Ramp, The Scream Team helps people move beyond an ordinary mask and create expressive, memorable characters.

Every Scream Team design begins as an original clay sculpture. It is then molded before foam latex is poured and baked to produce the finished prosthetic appliance. This hands-on process creates lightweight, flexible pieces that move with the wearer’s facial expressions.

Scott understands that an effective character is more than a frightening face. The design must support the performer, photograph well and remain visually convincing in person. That combination of artistry and practical experience has guided The Scream Team since its beginning.

For more than three decades, Scott has designed and applied character makeups for professional productions, major theme-park events and haunted attractions. His long-running work with Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest has given him firsthand knowledge of what prosthetic appliances need to deliver in demanding performance environments.
